Roger L. Jackman M.D.

Dr. Jackman was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He graduated from Allegheny College in 1954 and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1958. He served a one year internship at the Polyclinic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. Jackman also served a three year residency at Brooke General Hospital, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas during his Army career. He joined to Army in 1958 and served on active duty until 1970 then went to the Army Reserve retiring from that service in 1992. He spent several years in private practice in Tennessee before being employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs in 1988. Dr. Jackman retired from that position in 1997. He moved to the Columbia area in 2000. Since being here he taught Biology at Columbia College for a time and Anatomy at Moberly Area Community College. Dr. Jackman joined Dr. Travis in their present practice in November 2000.
